In this unit I studied the different methods of evaluation and testing, including external exams which I can help prepare my students for. External exams are especially important for my Chinese students, as studying or working abroad is considered an important goal in life. I should be wary of focusing too much on preparation activities however, as improving fluency is possibly overlooked.The lesson covers the broad range of test and evaluation available to the teacher and school for student level assignment, course content and monitoring of the student's progress. In addition, an overview of the various external examinations available to the student and school was presented. I don't imagine the teacher will have much to say regarding which external exam will be required.
