This unit was very helpful in describing the importance of course books or lack there of. It made me realize that teachers do not always have to follow the course book material and can supplement or omit certain parts if they feel necessary. It also has provided me with confidence to be able to design a lesson plan the way that I want knowing that the book is not always the go to \" right \" choice.The unit was not well organized.The part of classroom arrangement was not clear.It needs pictures for illustration especially in the point of students arrangement.Moreover ,the section of maintaining discipline is lacking practical steps to be carried out with the misbehaving children.Yet,I liked the sections of grouping the students and the gesture and the voice of the teacher inside the classroom.
