i found this unit useful even though at first it seemed to be just basic details however the examples given were again very useful and could easily be adapted to the classroom setting. In particular i liked the example of pre selecting what might be problematic vocabulary so that this can be identified before the student begins to read, this is definitely a skill i will carry forward.This unit explains the importance of planning a lesson and also the importance of not having a too rigid plan when engaging with the students. I have learned that planning for a lesson can help with defining learning outcomes for each lesson, keeping track during a lesson and can also help keeping a record of what the class has done and what materials have been used during the lesson.
