This unit focused on considerations that need to be taken into account when teaching specific special groups such as children,`beginners or people interested in learning English for business purposes. It provides insight into the different needs that each special group have and presents ways of how to meet those needs. I found the section on multi-lingual versus mono-lingual students useful as well.As it been many years since I attended school. I have felt like a student learning all over again.
This was a very challenging unit for me. I now have a better understanding of the way we break down language, and will find this copy of the unit extremely helpful for the future in class with students.
As a native English speaker and writer I/we just do without thinking of verbs, nouns pro-nouns etc.
