Some of the differences in Reported Sentences are so subtle that I had the urge to chalk them up to formality versus informality. In New York there is such a wide variety of dialects that any number of these incorrect Reported Sentences could be heard on a daily basis, and one would never bat an eye. As a result of this I think I had some trouble identifying the correct ones in this test.This unit is a continuation of the previous unit and one can argue that they are interwoven. it focused on the productive skills: reading and writing. I thoroughly enjoyed this Unit because it helped provide me knew ideas to engage students and ensure effective communication. The task sheet was very helpful in removing any grey areas it provided me with a better understanding of the unit.
