Unit 18 discusses modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. Modals can be used to express certain things and have different usages. Phrasal verbs are difficult to learn and are best learned through natural use and uncontrolled practice. Active and passive voice are particularly important when you want to change the focus of the sentence. Depending on the focus, the location of the agent in the sentence changes.I thought the content in this unit was very helpful. It was nice to be informed of important ways to teach vocabulary to students. I liked the ideas that are written about how to engage, study, and activate lessons to teach vocabulary words as well as the grammar and sentence functions. I cannot get enough information on this and really like becoming more and more knowledgable on how to teach correctly. Thanks
