This unit helped me to realize what are the important aspects of managing a classroom discipline. It is very important to give instructions clearly and keep the language simple. Teacher talking time should not overpower student talking time. A good way of increasing student talking time is pair work. Eye contact is very important as well as voice intonation.While this unit was pretty informative and had a lot to say about grammar rules that many native speakers might not know, I felt that the way the information was presented could have been a little better. There were examples listed that I did not agree with and could have been worded so as to be clearer to the reader, native speaking ability notwithstanding.
