This unit dealt with modals,phrasal verbs and passive voice.The modals used express different ideadsuch as obligation,possibility,permission,ability and advice.The uses of the auxillaries and its are explained in the past,present and future tense.This unit took time to digest and understand and requires much more in-depth reading from other sources.The relative clauses and phrasal verbs made very interesting reading.What I learned in this unit is how some tenses can overlap and cause issues for learners. The ability to create distinctions between these complicated tenses will be beneficial to me as a teacher as well as the students that I am trying to teach. On top of tense overlap there are the common mistakes that students will make. With knowledge of this before hand I will be able to communicate ways around that very easily.
