This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
The examples given in this unit are really what made it make more sense, and as always, will be a great source of information and a good tool to have when planning lessons in the future. The test is where I learned the most though, especially the end where we had to think about the boomerang lesson plan. Those are my favorite types of questions and really help with pulling the information I've learned so far together. This unit we looked at various materials used in class, both authentic and created, the pros and cons of using books in class and how much you should use them. In contrast with the last unit, most of what we learned was examples of different created materials we could use in class. I like all the examples provided and guides to use when teaching English becomes a reality; not only is it reassuring but also comforting.
