Unit 20 is about troubleshooting in classes. It talks about how to usually do a first lesson by getting to know the students if it is a new group. It also states that usually doing warm ups are a good way to get the students thinking and speaking in English before moving on to the main lesson. It also gives suggestions for the different level students such as the low level and high level students.In this unit, it covered the importance of that a teachers demeanor can bring to a lesson. While in both examples the teacher was very knowledgeable of the subject, the 2nd lesson demonstrates that only presenting information is not sufficient to create a learning environment. Using already known topics from the students to expound on their knowledge greatly increases the students desire to learn.
