This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit Two is about the EFL methodoligies, mistakes and feedback. I have learned different ethods and techniques of EFL teaching and when to use which one of them.
Furthermore I got introduced to the Engage, Study an Activate approach called ESA, which gives the teacher flexibility and is especially good for trainee and new teachers. In that section of Unit Two I also got very creative ideas for each phase of ESA.This particular unit was just a brush up of parts of speech for me. It gives specific names for different parts of speech and it will be a good reference section in future classes. I think that teaching the use of articles to non-native speakers is one of the most difficult aspects of this section. I am glad that I have a quick reference guide to help collect my thoughts when covering this topic in the future.
