This unit is focused on how to most effectively plan and carry out your lessons. It gives the basics of punctuality, organization, as well as the finer details of a lesson plan (what do you hope to achieve for both student and teacher, how long things will take, what might go wrong, etc). Also included is a very practical template for designing my own lesson plans.The saying,\" You cannot teach old dogs new tricks.\" well I just got taught. I know bad English, but I am from the south of the USA. Bad English was invented there. I have completed hundreds of lesson plans in my career. I have never thought of the issues, teaching ideas this course has brought to light. Are I have used the same ideas but not knowing it at the time.
