This unit is helpful because it show us how the first video is not the way to follow if you really desire to teach and to have good results.The teacher in the first video doesn't create the right conditions to engage the students.The second video demonstrates instead that the attitude of the teacher makes the students respond well, participating, learning, enjoying.
This is what a teacher has to do.This unit has been very useful. I also felt that it was quite challenging, as there are many methods and techniques available for teachers to use for their students. I think it is best to keep coming back to these methods, know them properly and use when necessary. Using a variety of methods with students would be a good idea as it would help the teacher discover what works best with their students.
