This lesson covered some important information to consider when using/selecting lesson material and/or a course book. It is always important to consider the students' ages, interests, and abilities when doing anything in an English lesson, and choosing materials and work books is no exception. The lesson then gave several good ideas and samples of materials that might be used in a lesson.This unit discusses the different types of tests and assessments. I learned that progress tests and practice tests are good ways to assess how well students are learning the content of the class and to prepare them for their exams. As someone who majored in a foreign language, I wish I had received such tests from my own language teachers as I think it would have really helped my fluency.
