This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I learned about several different issues that I might face as an EFL teacher. Teaching large classes might require more group work and assigning group leaders. Reluctant students need special considerations, such as letting them record themselves outside of class. When teaching a first class, it's important to build rapport and figure out the students' abilities in English. This unit demonstrated how to teach the tense system of English. There are three different times in English (the past, the present and the future) - and each one of those times has four aspects - simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. I believe that a teacher should be very clear with students when teaching this unit - otherwise the different tenses will cause much confusion.
