This unit was about modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. It is a more challenging unit than the last few because it deals with some of the more technical aspects of grammar and teaching and less on lesson structure and teaching skills. Modals words such: may, need to, must, Etc. that add clarity to the main idea. An example of a modal would be: I MUST take out the trash, my Mom told me too.This unit highlights the use of different visual aids and the pros and cons of their use. I believe that all visual aids are useful, but it depends on the environment and the type of students you have. But it is extremely important that teachers are not heavily dependent upon teaching aids because it could prevent students from learning or cause them to lose interest in the lesson plan being taught.
