Unit 2 provides the very valuable and necessary teaching methods that each teacher should use and the lesson structures best used in the classroom. Whether one is more partial to methods such as grammar-based, tasked based learning, or the lexical approach a good teacher must be able to use different methods bade on the class and material given. Perhaps the most important part of this unit is how to use the 3 basic parts of a lesson: engage, study, and activate. The engage stage of a lesson focuses on capturing the students attention, the study stage uses worksheets to help students practice pronunciation and spelling, and the activate stage allows the students to use all the skills they have learned thus far.
