Personally I feel that this unit doesn't offer anything that hasn't been covered already in previous units. The analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of authentic materials versus created materials is largely common sense. Furthermore the materials given and the test questions regarding a boomerang ESA lesson also don't particularly provide any new information or challenge compared to earlier units.I realized how often I use modal verbs without even knowing what they are. They're probably trickier to learn as they don't deal with concrete ideas, but instead add to other parts of the sentence. They can imply things like varying levels of formality; they can be somewhat nebulous, so some modal verbs might be better left for learners who already have a good grasp of the basic SVO forms used in English.
