Teaching different age groups means preparing a lesson with the same aim ina totally different way. Teachers always need to be very flexible and listen to the needs of their students. A group with young learners has to tought very lively and in short sequences that nobody gets bored.
Whereas a business English class needs to involve the different age groups and sometimes level of education.I feel like this lesson has me to me to how to properly evaluate the students. Even if there are placement tests given before the start of the course, the teacher should be giving progress tests continually throughout the course to ensure that the students are learning and improving. By giving progress tests the teacher can also teach better by learning certain weaknesses students may have.
