Personally I enjoy having books in the lessons I teach. Having a book gives some kind of structure that I can follow if I like. Usually I?m not following books strictly and I?m more flexible during the lessons. I don?t like to put so much effort on making my own materials, because it can take so much time. On the other hand I know that if I make the materials on my own they are probable OK.In unit 14, I have revised the materials used to teach English. I have studied autentic and non-autentic materials. I have revised the advantages and disadventages of course books. I have studied the types of created materials. An English teacher should not always be bounded to the course books. H/she should always prepare supportative created materials according to the needs of his/her students.
