This unit explains receptive skills and how we can incorporate two of them together. Unit 11 aims to explain the purpose of receptive skills and different specialist skills when reading and listening. It was very useful as the unit presents the potential problems that a teacher might have in the future. With the task materials, I believe that the unit covers everything with strong examples.This unit has been challenging, and at the same time has lead to a better understanding of the subject. Learning about the phonemic alphabet and symbols has been a great new skill to learn so I am better equiped to help others learning english. Learning and understanding more about stresses and intonations has also been really useful to read and the unit provided good coverage on the topic.
