It is interesting and amazing to see how many different courses there are and for different levels of ability. There are also many different reasons for learning English and the external ones seem to be for immigration, study or business purposes. Evaluation and testing are vital parts of the process because they allow students to be evaluated and placed according to their ability so that they progress according to this criteria.This unit showed two videos with actual TEFL classes in order to demonstrate an ineffective teaching example and an effective teaching example. From watching these videos I learned how to apply what I have already learned and what good teaching looks like (because I saw it visually). The videos also helped me to understand what students are experiencing and feeling depending on the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the teacher.
