There are some common problems teachers of ESL face. The first lesson can be stressing for the teacher as well as the student. It is good to use warmer activities to establish rapport with students and make them comfortable in the new class room. Another common problem in ESL classes is use of native language. The teacher must encourage students to practice English language in the class room and use native language minimally.In this unit I learned about eight principles of grammar, and how they are used. I learned about the five different types of nouns and the differences between them, as well as pronouns. The unit also went over adjectives that describe nouns. Definite and indefinite articles were covered as well as verbs and verb forms, how long with adverbs. In addition to these, gerunds and prepositions we're covered along with conjunctions.
