This unit mainly teaches the pronunciation and gives importance of phonology. Different Intonation types like fall/rise, rise/fall, flat sentences were discussed. Different manner of articulation like plosive, fricative, nasal, lateral,affricate and approximant were also discussed. Stressed words and stress on syllables were explained with examples. Usage of International Phonetic Alphabet chart with examples were also discussed.This unit has shown me that the classroom dynamic comes in many forms. The seating arrangement must be adjusted depending the type of classroom and its students. And if the students should be working in groups, pairs, or individually depends on the lessons they are being taught. Discipline should also be monitored as this can seriously damage the rapport that is being built with the students, as well as their learning potential.
