This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I learned of the various ways to test and evaluate my students before, during, and after a course. These different tests and evaluations serve different purposes that are meant to best meet the needs of a student, not to scrutinize and intimidate them. Many of the tests give the teacher a better idea of where his students are at at any given time throughout the course and helps shape it as they all move forward.Unit 18 was about modals, phrasal verbs, passive voice and relative clauses. There are lots of modal verbs and it's important to know their meaning and level of formality. Phrasal verbs can bring some variety into one's speech, but are hard to master. Passive voice is used to put more emphasis on the action. And, finally, relative clauses help to get more information about the person or subject which is present in the sentence.
