In unit eleven I learned about receptive skills and how reading and listening is vital to a student's education. While productive skills are just as vital, this chapter covers reading and listening. I learned how to lead a typical lesson on reading and listening and the reasons for reading and listening. Also how I was given examples of problems which may arise with a reading and listening lesson and how to address it properly.The only problem with video lessons is that if you miss a bit of content, it is harder to scan the video than a pdf for information. I found myself watching the same thing a few times in the first video to make sure the teacher didn't leave the room without explanation, to answer one of the questions. It made the unit a little more dull and repetitive, but apart from that it was good. I really enjoyed watching an actual lesson.
