Unit 17 is on equipment and teaching aids. The unit starts off by giving an explanation on teaching equipment; common aids, when to use, and the purpose and or meaning they add to the learner. The unit then goes on in more detail about certain equipment and what is needed to set up the classroom. Finally the unit provides examples of 'good' aids and where to locate them. Helpful unit to be classroom ready.I really appreciated how the sample lesson plan in the unit seems to flow easily from one topic to the next without it seeming like the lesson awkwardly jumps back and forth between different things. I would want to make sure that my lessons would have this same flow to it. I also liked the emphasis on pre-teaching any difficult vocabulary words but also making sure that I don't overdo it at the beginning.
