This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered the importance of lesson planning--both too much planning and too little. Also of note was the stressed need for flexibility in planning based on student needs, attention, and progress. Seeing how a lesson might be broken down was especially helpful because it showed a proposed sequence of ESA steps and how they fit together into a larger plan. This will be useful as I move forward with planning my own lessons.Past and present tenses are moreless the same as they both focus on future and history. The unit further explains it in simpler ways by providing us with a formula for different types of tenses(subject + was/verb-ing)The formular makes the creation and understanding to be much more easier for students. It is very vital for students to be able to differentiate between different types of tenses to give a sentence a meaningful sense.
