This unit was a little tricky for me. For me, the most interesting part of this unit was; the use and understanding of Passive Voice. I think it will be interesting to find out how the learners chooses to use passive voice. I think it is common for new leaners of English to confuse the auxiliary words, and use them in a different context. I think I have a better understanding of the proper uses of Modals, Phrasal Verbs and Passive voice.These videos very clearly show a contrast between attitudes of the teachers, and the profound effects it can have on the students and the effectiveness of the lesson. I could almost feel the awkwardness and discomfort on the part of the students in the first lesson, and it was positively difficult to watch. Conversely, the second lesson was actually enjoyable to watch. This was a terrific example of how to effectively manage a lesson.
