After discussing about the Receptive Skills in previous unit, we are now moving on to the Productive Skills. These classroom integrated skills are equal important. Similarly, accuracy and fluency are equal important for students to get familiar with and to produce correct language. Teachers are encourage to use games in the classroom to simulate, motivate and create fun opportunities for students interaction.This unit showed me how to approach collecting materials and teaching resources. I was also made aware of the various advantages and disadvantages of using both authentic and non authentic materials and I now see how important it is to carefully check and screen all authentic materials I plan to use in lessons in order to ensure the content is both beneficial and appropriate for the students and lesson topic.
