Equipment and teaching aids was a subject about which I did not have a clear idea before covering this unit. My total knowledge on the subject simply comprised of what I have seen teachers of my own use in the past and I did not understand some like Smartboards for example. This unit clarified different technologies uses and applications for me, so that I might more easily use them in the classroom.Most school do not have all the material and course books that the teacher needs for class, therefore, the teacher needs to be prepared to create his own material. The good news are that material created by the teacher are generally more interesting to the students. They can be authentic, like songs, magazines, newspaper, films etc or created such as flashcards, picture stores, role-play cards, etc.
