The unit was about how to teach the different parts of a new language to students. It provided techniques and examples on how to use ESA to: teach new vocabulary, introduce grammatical structures, teach language functions. It contained a lot of practical examples for activities suitable for all ESA phases, which I found very useful. It gave me a better idea how to actually teach a language.This unit is covering the major techniques to deal with the stages of classroom management. Classroom arrangement, teacher and student talking time, effective methods of working with board, useful ways to give instructions and their pros and cons are gives in depth. The role of gestures, voice tone, eye contact and genuine students-teacher rapport together with behavioral advices are given.
