In unit four I learned about the tense system and how the past, the present and the future has four aspects each. Unit four not only introduced the tense system but also covered all four present tenses; the present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. The form, usages, typical student errors and activate stage teaching ideas were given for each of the four tenses and explained thoroughly.This unit covered the benefits and mechanics of lesson planning. Benefits include having an appropriate aim for the class time, having a worksheet of some kind to keep you on task, and also having a record of what was accomplished during the class time. There was also a list reminding teachers what all to include in their lesson planning. The unit also included some possible lesson plans using the straight arrow ESA approach.
