Unit 7 is about teaching new language. It teaches us about how to select vocabulary to teach as well as what the students need to understand about the new words. It then explains how we can use the Engage Study Activate structure to teach vocabulary, grammar, and language functions. This doubles as another reinforcement of various ESA formats. A well executed unit in my opinion.From this unit I learned how to deal with different problems I might face in a class. I learned that it is important to establish rapport quickly wow yew class and I learnsd how to deal with reluctant students. Also importantly I learned how to deal with large and mixed ability classes effectively.
Do these things will help my class grow as students and myself grow as a teacher.
