This unit bought the reality of actually teaching student to life for me. I was excited by the possibilities, the course books and the creativity required to make ESL lessons engaging, interesting and fun for my future students. Course materials pay an important place in teaching but this unit also taught me that a teachers imagination and preparation is equally important.This unit is centered on practical skills students need to learn in order to use the English language in a productive way. The lesson features ways in which to teach speaking and writing in a classroom. The unit teaches the differences between accuracy and fluency, in which each carry equal importance, and teaches how to incorporate these concepts into a classroom setting.
