This unit focuses on different approaches on how to teach vocabulary, grammar and language functions. It also outlines what things students need to become aware of when learning each aspect i.e meaning, usage, construction etc.Unit 11 reading and listening teaches four basic teaching skills. Receptive skills (reading and listening) and productive skill (speaking and writing). unit 11 explains how there should be a balanced when approaching the student. it also gives reasons and motives for reading and listening in two fairly wide range categories. last it explains if we should have a purpose or a form of entertainment when teaching the English language.
