I learnt about how classroom layout can affect student learning and for effective ways to deal with rowdy students. I found it helpful to target the student at the end of the question useful to know, so that if the individual is unsure, I am able to ask another student and they would have been more likely to have listened than if I had mentioned the student's name at the beginning of the questionI am glad to learn that I do not have to be (or fake being) an extrovert to be a good teacher. This unit showed me that it takes the observation of your personality and how it mixes with the personalities of the students to find out how to properly manage a class. Although that is a little concerning, as I have no clear instructions, it is also nice to know that my personality type can be enough.
