Definitely saw some review of Unit 1 material with the distinctions made between adults and young learners. The needs analysis section illustrated a good point in the difference between individual needs and group needs. It would be important to make clear to the group that the most sensible route is to cover what they all have in common first. Secondly, you need to try to cover as many \"individual needs\" as possible.Unit 11 was an overview of teaching receptive skills, in particular reading and listening. This unit was helpful in that it covered the theoretical aspects of teaching reading and listening effectively, while also giving an in depth example of a lesson as well. The detailed explanation of teaching receptive skills helped me to realize how I could tailor my lessons appropriately to match the ability of various students.
