This unit discussed strategies to teach the productive skills of writing and speaking to students. The most important point to remember is that students need to feel a need and desire to communicate, because without motivation, these necessary skills will be neglected. Therefore, students should be made to feel comfortable enough in their learning environment to speak and write without worrying about making mistakes.From this unit, I learned about modals, phrasal verbs, relative clauses and passive voice. I get to know the accurate forms and their different usage during the unit. And it gives me some opportunities of thinking teaching ideas connected to grammar accuracy. Furthermore I understand how to approach the mistakes that are expected to done in the exercises. Finally, I supposed it is also worth teaching and studying both.
