Since I was educated at an early age in Canada, I did not learn the phonetic system growing up. So I learned a lot from this chapter. I did find there was a lot of material in this chapter to process, more than the other chapters. And I know that I still need a lot of practice using the phonetic system and I think teaching the material in this chapter will be quite a challenge.Teaching students about first, second, third, and mixed conditionals can be tricky at first. It's important to give as many examples as possible as sometimes in the English language, the rules may not make sense to non-native speakers. There are aspects of the English language that can only be known by learning specifically as they may not adhere to the grammatical rules given.
