Like previous units about present and past tense, this unit covers the future sense in the same way. I think that the most important thing I got out of this unit is that I learned just how many shapes the future tense can be expressed in. For example, I had never thought, or realized, that the present simple and the present continuous could be used the express something about the future.Well, I am interested in the future, that much is certain! I also was interested realizing that an open ended present tense was considered a future tense, realizing that language and tenses can sometimes weave in and out like major and minor chords. Realizing that I've been doing this even as I write, I like to look back on what I've written, and try to identify what I've been composing.
