Unit 8 on future tenses has an easy to read, continuative flow, with action plans for teacher in class exercises. Adding the \"be going\" with present simple and present continuous helped with making comparisons between the three and the other future tenses.
I found myself with some down time in the classroom today and tossed out the idea of reviewing the verb tenses. My students have an upper intermediate level and I was a bit surprised that their knowledge of these verb tenses was not within their comprehension. Knowing how this information can be a bit over whelming, I took the lesson very slow and only touched on the very basics. I felt very good about the lesson and found people leaning forward and taking notes.
