I learned that it is important to consider the age group you are teaching as well as the students' previous exposure to English when teaching a class.This unit explains about the types of materials that a teacher can used to teach english. After having read through this unit, i got a better understanding of how to use the materials correctly for different levels of students or for students of a particular culture. i have learnt how to use different materials to tailor lessons in a way that benefit the students the most.
