Teaching a new language can be hard when using new vocabulary, grammar and functions it can become confusing for students. Unit 7 really breaks each part individually into sections so that you can include the structures and be able to use the 'ESA' formulas Engage, Study, Activate to really help the students define each one with nice activities and excercises to really engage and elicit the students.Looking back, I can now see some of these techniques that my teachers were using back when I was in school. It is interesting to study them in an analytical way and see how each contributes to development of understanding of a topic, in this case language. It also helped reinforce the importance of correcting student errors in a mindful way - only at certain times and in the setting of much praise.
