This unit taught me more about all the different conditionals. The teaching ideas helped me understand them better. I can adapt these teaching ideas for the classroom. As for reported speech, I did not pay much attention to this until studying this unit. I would report speech and not think too much about it. This unit forced me to think about the changes I made to the verbs when reporting back.unit 14 (course books and lesson materials) teaches how to select and whether or not to use a course book. this unit also explains that this is a complex issue in choosing your material. It also gives examples of the advantages and disadvantages in using authentic, created, and course books materials. this unit gave the best way of use of course books and four different options in how to teach.
