The selection of suitable and appropriate course material according to the needs and level of students is of utmost significance. For me, the most ideal way of teaching is the usage of supplementary materials alongside course books, where needed, which help the students in understanding the concept more effectively. Furthermore, while using authentic materials, the stuff should be well in accordance with the students level and interest.This unit really helped me to understand the importance of the material reviewed in unit 3. I was forced to refer back to unit 3 before feeling I could comfortably tackle the test for this unit and, in doing so, I was able to find myself engaging more thoroughly with the ESA instructional techniques. I also found the Lesson Plan examples and worksheets to be extremely useful and I am sure I will use them to plan my lessons in the future.
