In practice this is topic is easier than to do in theory, I feel to teach this effectively it would be important to engage students in hands on verbal practice. Games that can help understand the importance of getting these right for clear understanding and communication. I found this a bit tricky and wordy, although the table helped. So I would probably laminate and create a table for students to refer to.It was helpful to learn that there are two major approaches to teaching business English - the grammar/rules approach and more practical, communicative approach that stresses real-life situations. However, having more explanation about how a teacher can successfully utilize both approaches in lesson planning would have been helpful. Having completed the 120-hour TESOL certificate, this unit was a good review.
