I look forward to using all tools available to interact with and inspire students. This particular lesson has taught me how many different ways are available to engage a students' attention and promote their learning interest. I do, however, feel that a couple of these methods are no longer valid. With DVD and CD I don't feel that cassette is any longer viable. I am excited about the tools remaining available.The ESA (engage, study, activate) lesson method is explained clearly and provides the teacher with a solid groundwork to his/her lesson plans. This unit has also given many examples of activities to use in the different sequences of the lesson, which can be taken as reference for future plans.
In addition, learning about all the other existing teaching methods can broaden one's mind leading to better performance.
