In this unit I saw the Past Tenses, which is their use and correct aplication. I saw the Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and the Past Perfect Continuous, all of the forms and rules, and also the most common mistakes students make, when learning these tenses. I was also introduced to a few sample activate teaching ideas to use in class, to help introduce these concepts to students and help them better understand the Past Tenses.it is quite important to underline some grammatical aspects like in this unit. It is worthwhile noting the different tendencies that are taking place while using conditional and reported speech. What might seems natural to the most of us will be interpreted as a major step for a lot of students. Being able to explain the small differences and the varieties in the grammar makes the difference between an average teacher and a confirmed one.
