This unit is about evaluating and testing learners on what they have learnt so far. Results from the tests are likely to determine the methods and techniques a teacher will use in the teaching and learning process for the benefit of the learner. In other words, it keeps both teachers and learners on their toes regarding how much each should do concerning the teaching and learning of the language respectively.In this unit we focussed on the evaluation and testing skills. We looked at different ways of testing and evaluating student levels and progress as well as some of the common external exams that you may need to prepare your students for.This unit helped me understand pronunciation better and the course outline was clear . I learned a lot about the different skills and this helped me to understand them better.
